INtelligent platform for providing STaffing ANd Training in the Hotel Industry
The INSTANT project investigates and proposes practical and innovative solutions for the hotel sector on staffing issues. As part of INSTANT project an online integrated platform is to be developed that seeks to revolutionize the Human Resources function of the hotel industry. The platform will focus on three pillars, i.e. (i) employment (matching potential candidates and hotel owners), (ii) vocational training. It offers easily available specialized (online and on site) trainings for the hotel industry and facilitates the integration in the country/industry in all aspects (healthcare, immigration etc.), aiming towards a positive impact on economic growth, social welfare and the tourist product. In this context, INSTANT has set the following objectives:
- To provide a usable and easy method for perspectives employees to seek for employment in Cyprus hospitality industry
- To create and offer remote specialised trainings for the hotel industry tailored to the needs of the recruiter by developing a learning space environment with both synchronous and asynchronous components
- To inform employees and provide guidelines regarding healthcare, ancillary services
- To guide both employers and perspective employees through the human resource processes to allow a smooth interaction between the two parties
